About My Clients
I work especially well with LGBTQ+ individuals, lawyers, law students, and high-achieving professionals. My clients are often navigating important life transitions — in their careers, relationships, or sense of self — and are ready to understand patterns that may be holding them back. Every person who walks through my door is different, and I tailor my approach accordingly.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and have over 15 years of clinical experience. I have served as staff psychologist at Columbia University Counseling Services and Georgetown University Law Center, and I have been in private practice since 2016. My approach is relational/psychodynamics and also very collaborative and highly personalized — I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I work to understand each person as a whole, paying close attention to the patterns, relationships, and life experiences that shape how they move through the world. My clinical work is informed by current research and draws on multiple therapeutic modalities, tailored to what works best for each individual. LGBTQ+ affirming care has been central to my work throughout my career. I offer a knowledgeable, sex-positive, and genuinely welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals.
