About My Clients
Do you feel emotionally exhausted from constantly trying to hold everything together while silently struggling on the inside? Are anxiety, depression, burnout, ADHD, trauma, stress, or life transitions making it difficult to feel like yourself again? I work with adults who feel overwhelmed by work, relationships, caregiving, or daily responsibilities and provide compassionate, culturally responsive care where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
My approach focuses on helping clients feel supported, understood, and empowered while building practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, burnout, mood changes, and emotional overwhelm. Together, we work to better understand what may be contributing to emotional struggles while developing strategies to improve daily functioning and overall wellness. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), I understand the important connection between mental, emotional, and physical health. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy through a compassionate, collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach. My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be compassionate, accessible, culturally responsive, and free from shame or judgment. I am passionate about helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, especially within underserved and minority communities where many individuals may struggle silently without support. I value creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for people from diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and life experiences, including individuals of different sexual orientations and faith backgrounds. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, respect, and the belief that healing begins when people feel heard, supported, and empowered. I also believe in caring for the whole person by recognizing the connection between emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and social well-being.
