About My Clients
I specialize in complex trauma, PTSD, and chronic pain. I support folx in the queer community or individuals navigating identity-based stress and systemic marginalization. My clients are typically those who been in therapy before but felt talk therapy or behavioral approaches like CBT did not work for them. They’re often thoughtful, self-aware, and ready for a different kind of experience — one that moves beyond managing symptoms and toward deeper integration.
My Approach to Helping
Therapy with me is collaborative and non-hierarchical. We work as a team navigating what comes to the surface together. I focus on integrative wellness, informed by liberation and feminist therapies. I use somatic IFS and EMDR as tools for release and integration. No matter the tool, the energetic body is always relevant and guides my work with clients. My work is also foundationally systems oriented, de-colonial and non-pathologizing. I prefer to meet with folks in-person at my office or a park, but I also offer online sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy as a space of curiosity rather than correction — a place not just to answer questions but to discover new ones. I am just as interested in dismantling and unlearning as I am in growth and building. Healing often requires us to question inherited narratives, challenge internalized beliefs, and make space for new ways of being. I became a counselor because I am in constant awe of the human experience. Our internal worlds are dynamic, powerful, and expansive. I believe each person carries deep wisdom within themselves — wisdom that can surface when met with genuine support, safety, and compassion. I believe in creating a sovereignty-focused environment where exploration happens without shame and transformation unfolds at its own pace. Roadblocks are not failures, they are often stepping stones toward deeper expansion.
