My Background and Approach
I specialize in anxiety, using ACT, CBT, and EMDR in my therapeutic work. I have additional postgraduate training in performance enhancement and working through performance anxiety. As a professional musician, I enjoy working with performance artists and those whose work is demanding and stressful (i.e., healthcare, business). My practice has evolved to also include a focus on helping people work through trauma. I am trained in EMDR and trauma-focused CBT to help people process past events that are getting in the way of fully engaging with life. I have an approachable, warm, down-to-earth style and want you to feel safe to explore your inner world without fear of judgment. I work collaboratively, believing that you are the expert in your own life. Although I am solution-focused, I understand the impact of trauma and early attachment experiences and am trained in EMDR, ACT, and CBT/CPT to help you process this if desired.

It is important to me that each person feels free to be exactly who they are with no fear of judgment or discrimination. I do not pretend to know your experience, but will commit to doing my best to understand.
