I'm trained in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy and I work with you to figure out which modality will work best for your needs.
I use a combination of CBT, DBT, ACT and grounding skills, as well as Mindful Self Compassion to help challenge anxious/self-critical thoughts.
I worked in a residential treatment center for eating disorders for 2 1/2 years and have been working with folx struggling with eating disorders at an outpatient level of care for 3 years.
Discovering negative core beliefs and figuring out effective ways to challenge those beliefs can be a really helpful way to explore where our depression/anxiety/other uncomfortable feelings originate. My goal is to teach you how to respond to the negative voice in your head that tells you you're not good enough.

I am fully trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, which is a 12 session module to challenge thoughts that arise as a result of traumatic experiences. It's evidence based and I've found it to be helpful and effective. I'm also trained in EMDR, which uses eye movement or tapping to help process traumatic events.
