About My Clients
Do thoughts keep showing up that you don't agree with or feel ashamed to have, but can't seem to stop them? Do you lose hours just thinking, unable to be present with the people you love? Maybe a part of you knows these thoughts don't reflect who you are, but they won't let go. Your body might react before your mind can agree; blowing up, shutting down, or feeling like you're outside your own body. There may be an inner voice that's never satisfied, always telling you it's not good enough.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, gentle, and honest. I help clients regain choice and agency, so your life feels guided by your values rather than controlled by intrusive thoughts or your past. For OCD, I guide clients through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment that helps you break free from the exhausting cycles of your thoughts and behaviors. For trauma, we'll work together to understand why your nervous system is wired to feel like you're constantly running from a bear and develop tools and strategies to help you find safety within yourself and the world around you. Together, we'll build compassion and understanding for yourself, moving towards the version of you that you want to be. You'll learn to trust yourself again, feel more present in your relationships, and create a life that feels authentic and aligned with who you truly are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe your relationship with your therapist is one of the most vulnerable and emotionally intimate relationships someone can have. With this belief, creating safety in our space is my top priority, along with always making sure my clients feel seen, understood and heard. There is nothing worse than starting with a therapist and leaving having that feeling of "I am just that messed up or broken? Ugh, another person who doesn't understand?". I know that I will not be the right fit for every client, but I know it is my goal in every session to make sure the person leaving feels more understood and seen than before they came in.
