There is nothing I find more honor and value in, than sitting with someone as they heal and process trauma. I utilize IFS and cognitive processing to help clients find safety in this world and with people again. You will be able to identify your triggers and have tools to regulate yourself through those triggers, to be able to live a life where your trauma does not define you or consume you. Your trauma will become a scar you look back on, instead of an open wound that brings consistent pain.

As someone who has struggled with anxiety my whole life, I know what a monster it can feel like. Your anxiety can start to sound like the only voice in your head and becomes hard to differentiate between yourself and the fear. With CBT and ERP methods, we will reclaim the voice in your head and bring a sense of control and calmness back into your life.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a humanistic, evidence-based approach to psychotherapy, drawing primarily from attachment theory to facilitate the creation of secure, vibrant connection with self and others. Rooted in the science of emotions and attachment, EFT helps clients identify and transform the negative processing and interaction patterns that create distress. It focuses on the development of emotional intelligence and awareness.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the gold standard treatment for OCD. It helps you break free from the exhausting cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsions. Together, we'll gradually face the thoughts or situations that trigger anxiety while resisting the urge to do mental or physical rituals. This teaches your brain that you can handle the discomfort of uncertainty. Over time, the thoughts lose their power and you regain control of your life.

I am trained in Exposure Response Prevention, which is the gold standard for treating OCD. Instead of getting caught up in the cycle with you, I will help pull you out and gain control of your thoughts. We will help you build a tolerance to uncertainty and trust in yourself again.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you understand that we all have different parts; like the part that pushes for perfection, shuts down when overwhelmed, or criticizes you relentlessly. These parts developed to protect you. In IFS, we get curious about them with compassion instead of fighting them. When they feel heard, they can relax, allowing you to access your calm, confident, compassionate Self. This helps you feel more integrated, peaceful, and whole.
