About My Clients
Many clients come to me when unsure of what they want in life or want to try therapy to explore their goals and identities. They often feel lost, confused, anxious, depressed, or disconnected from their loved ones, feel overwhelmed by life’s demands, and feel stuck. I would like to be part of your journey to explore ideas to help you heal, reconnect, change, better, and improve your current situations.
My Background and Approach
There is no one-size-fits-all counseling approach. I have always used person-centered and integrated therapy approaches to help my clients, such as Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Narrative therapy, Play therapy, EMDR (Eye movement desensitization & reprocessing) therapy, Brainspotting, Gottman Couple therapy, Sand Tray & Sand Play therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness Practice, and Art therapy. My goal is to help you explore different tools and techniques, no matter where you go, you can utilize them to handle challenges that may come your way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have found that we are all unique individuals with similar experiences but unique details in life. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all counseling approach. Since I began my counseling/therapy journey, each modality and approach has its pros and cons; we cannot always rely on one modality or approach to handle every situation. I understand how difficult it is for clients to deal with emotional issues such as separation, divorce, and death. I have worked in various school districts with diverse populations. I enjoy working with individuals and their families through different challenges of life. We often have various unique obstacles to face, but if we can be flexible to adapt to our challenges and find alternatives and resources, this can be our key to problem-solving and a huge step to our success. Let me help you reach your highest potential and achieve your goals.
