I am a trained marriage and family therapist with a passion for working with couples at any phase of their relationship. I take an attachment-based approach to help teach you and your partner the "why's" behind your actions and behaviors. I help with communication styles so you and your partner can start to really "hear" each other. If you feel disconnected or withdrawn from your spouse, I can help you two learn how to come back together more in love than before.

I can help you identify the triggers and start of your anxiety, alleviate your symptoms, and learn more about your future that helps you regain control. When you are in control of your emotions and decisions, your feelings of anxiety can start to dissipate. Trust the process!

If you are the type of person who enjoys structure, while knowing an approach is evidence-based and proven to work, we can incorporate CBT skills and activities to help you identify your negative distortions (thoughts) and help to replace them with what your mind is really craving. Once you start to identify all the times in which negative thoughts come in throughout the day, you start to give less power to them.

With a specialty in couples counseling, I utilize attachment-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman for more concrete structured sessions. If you are a high-conflict couple looking to communicate better, looking to be desired and wanted by your partner again, or looking for a 3rd party to help you two better understand each other, I will help by utilizing a variety of approaches.

Psychodynamic therapy helps you realize what has been sitting in your unconscious for quite some time, and shows you the source of your mind's distress and dysfunction. I will create the space for us to figure it out together.
