About My Clients
I work effectively with clients who feel ready to be open and explore some of the more challenging or difficult aspects of their life. I believe this comes from building a trusting therapeutic relationship, and I am invested in helping my clients feel both welcome and comforted in my presence. We can then work together on the client's goals, whether they be personal mental health goals, improving relationships, or working through a complicated past.
My Background and Approach
I believe that effective therapy work starts with a warm, trusting relationship. I have been trained in CBT and a systems approach-- this guides the work that I do. First we can place you in your current system (be it family, relationships, work), and then we can target specific concerns with helpful coping skills and tools. To truly understand yourself is to then set yourself free from harmful behaviors or thoughts.
