About My Clients

I’m a queer psychotherapist trained in clinical social work and trauma-informed care. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and also welcome individuals of all identities who are navigating identity exploration, depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma including CPTSD/PTSD, and more. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward—and want a space to better understand themselves and create change.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and anti-oppressive practice. I recognize that many challenges people face are shaped by both personal experiences and broader social contexts. Therapy can be a place to explore and acknowledge those influences while focusing on practical steps toward healing and growth. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your goals, preferences, and lived experiences. I also recognize that many neurodivergent individuals benefit from creative adaptations to coping strategies, therapeutic tools, and ways of processing experiences that were originally designed with neurotypical and allistic individuals in mind. We’ll celebrate your individuality and work with it. Whether we are exploring the past, navigating present challenges, or building toward the future, therapy is a collaborative process and we will move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you don’t have to shrink, perform, or explain away parts of yourself. My work is rooted in affirming all identities and creating an environment where you can show up as you are. I value collaboration, curiosity, and honesty in the therapy process. I see therapy as something we build together—not something done to you. I also believe that reaching out for support takes real courage, especially if you’ve felt misunderstood or unsupported in the past. If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to reach out. Finding the right fit matters, and I’m happy to connect and see if working together feels right for you.
