About My Clients

I enjoy working with individuals who often find themselves living in their heads. These individuals are experts at trying to think their way out of their problems and emotions. I work with clients to help them discover their capacity to sit with uncomfortable emotions and change the relationship they have with their feelings. My hope is that finding this balance will allow them the capacity and space to be more present in their lives and live less in their heads.

My Background and Approach

Therapy with me is an invitation to slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with yourself. It’s a collaborative, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are. I work from an integrative approach that brings together three powerful frameworks: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Person-Centered Therapy. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in a safe, trusting relationship. From ACT, I bring mindfulness-based tools that help you notice unhelpful patterns, build emotional flexibility, and reconnect with your values—even in the middle of discomfort. With IFS, we’ll gently explore the different “parts” of you—those inner voices or reactions that may be protective, overwhelmed, or stuck—so they can feel understood and begin to heal. And from a person-centered lens, I hold space for your experience with unconditional positive regard, always honoring your pace, your voice, and your autonomy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m absolutely obsessed with my dachshund, Ollie—he’s a bit of a menace, but I love him dearly. I love to cook, drink coffee, read, move my body, and be silly with the people I love. I’m a big foodie and always love a good sweet treat. On a more personal note, I’ve found so much meaning and growth through my own journey in therapy, and I’m open with clients about that. I’m a human first, and yes, I still go to therapy myself. I never want to come across as someone who has it all figured out because that’s simply not the case. I believe therapy works best when it’s real, honest, and grounded in human connection. I’m imperfect, just like everyone else, and I think that’s where some of the most powerful healing can begin.
