About My Clients
My clients are adults, adolescents/teens, and couples that are looking to improve their mental health, relationships, and mind-body connection. My clients may be struggling with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, identity issues, grief, intergenerational trauma, relationship issues, emotional disconnection or dysregulation, and/or are interested in unconventional living. My clients include members of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, as well as other marginalized individuals.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of San Diego, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Temple University. I am a collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed therapist who empowers my clients to create safety in their mind, body, and soul by building self-compassion and self-trust. I believe in an individual’s inherent knowledge and resiliency, pulling from Narrative Therapy practices that teach us to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve us. I invite clients to identify the effects of oppression and explore their responses and resources in the face of these challenges. I also encourage examining societal pressures and finding ways that authenticity and nonconformity can transform pressure into intention. I adapt my style of therapy for each individual, pulling from supplemental therapies such as SFT, EFT, CBT, IFS, and mindfulness techniques.
