About My Clients
Life can get messy, overwhelming and confusing. Sometimes we need extra support and validation and aren't sure where to turn. You may be coming here feeling tired and hopeless which can be a great catalyst for change! By researching therapists, you are already taking such an important and (often times scary) step towards healing. I am passionate about helping you get started with identifying your needs and finding creative ways to manage self-care/balance.
My Background and Approach
I have a playful personality that helps me build genuine and authentic connection to others (sarcasm, some cursey words and memes). I love working with children, teens and young adults who are neurodiverse or in the LGBTQ+ community and provide an accepting and affirming space. I love incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play/art of any kind (for any age!). I recognize that it can be intimidating to sit across from someone you don’t know for an hour so I am happy to incorporate activities like making slime, using essential oils, listening to music, etc.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we possess the answers within us for growth and if provided a safe space to find those answers, they will reveal themselves. I am passionate about Neurodivergent folks and those in the LGBTQ community because I am also in these communities and know how challenging navigating life can be! Having to work harder to be accepted in this world is exhausting. I help clients navigate this by working towards self-acceptance and finding small ways to create a life that fits your brain and lifestyle.
