About My Clients
I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety, panic disorder, and relationship issues by using exposure & response prevention, CBT, and mindfulness. I encourage my clients to face their fears and challenge negative thinking–so that YOU are the one in charge, not your anxiety. We work to shift your thoughts & perception so that anxiety no longer runs your life.
My Background and Approach
I know what it feels like to be scared to take the first step; to go through the hard work in order to grow. Because of that, it makes me the therapist I am today. Empathetic, understanding, and compassionate. These qualities are what I bring into our sessions in order to support you in becoming the best version of yourself. I want you to feel comfortable enough to share anything that comes to mind without any fear or judgment–knowing that we are in this together. At Head First, it is our mission to empower you to have a better relationship with yourself in order to optimize your potential and live a meaningful life. We do this by: believing in a holistic way of healing, honoring the brain-body connection, and specializing in evidence based, short term therapies such as CBT, ACT, DBT, ERP and Mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that at the end of the day, we are all human. We are not meant to be "perfect", we are allowed to make mistakes, learn, grow, and become wiser. Therapy is the place to be open and honest about those lessons learned. Through my own therapy experience, I learned how to look at life with a different mindset and not let certain things define me. I also believe that we can not take life too seriously because we are only here once.
