About My Clients
Are you familiar with the struggle of being in unsatisfying relationships and/or feeling unhappy in the life you are living? Maybe your anxiety, stress, depression, and/or other emotions are feeling out of control and it is affecting other aspects of your life. You may often have a tendancy to keep things bottled up with no outlet to get it all out. These are all things that I commonly hear from the clients who I am so passionate about working with. My Background and Approach
My background is laregly based in working with clients who have experienced high levels of trauma in their lifetime. This has varied from working with clients experiencing intimate partner violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, etc. Through these experiences, I have learned to make safety a top priority in therapy, even if trauma isn't what the client is coming in for. Sometimes that means working to find physical safety, but it always means making sure there is emotional safety within the therapeutic relationship to talk about the hard stuff. As a therapist, I am always striving to allow the client to direct the topics and also the pace in which we talk about the difficult stuff. I realize that sometimes it takes time to build enough safety to be vulnerable about our struggles and challenges. Whether you are coming in with trauma or something else, you are in the driver seat. I will be there to be curious, supportive, and help you to find solutions that work for you!
