About My Clients
I work well with clients who have a history of complex PTSD and/or chronic stress. Clients I support can expect me to challenge them to change their previous ways of thinking and behavior. My approach to therapy is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Clients who allow me to support them in their wellness journey can expect me to challenge them to change their previous patterns of thinking and behavior which did not serve them well.
My Background and Approach
I am a Masters level Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also board certified as a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. Additionally, I am a Master Certified Professional Coach. My approach to therapy is to make you feel as comfortable as possible in communicating your concerns. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist you in making changes that may lead to more beneficial outcomes and experiences for you. I also offer Christian counseling through a Biblical worldview.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a practicing Christian and I strive to live my life through applying the expectations, precepts, and principles of the Holy Bible. I have obtained specialized training in complex posttraumatic stress disorder and chronic stress which has transformed my approach to helping individuals who have experienced their lives as less than their best due to the dysfunctional influences of other people. I believe that many people are the products of nature and nurture until they learn to live beyond their previous limitations. I look forward to helping you reach your potential to live your best life, yet!
