About My Clients
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I’m a great fit for clients seeking clarity, connection, and healthier ways to cope. Whether you’re an individual wanting support, a couple hoping to communicate better, or a family working through conflict, I offer a grounded, collaborative space to grow and feel more understood.
My Background and Approach
I am a pre-licensed MFT trainee completing my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Golden Gate University and supervised at West Valley Counseling Center. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades in the technology and wellness industries, mentoring teams and supporting people through stress, burnout, imposter feelings, and major life transitions. This background helps me understand the real pressures individuals, couples, and families face and informs my practical, grounded approach. I integrate solution-focused strategies and mindfulness-based tools to help clients reduce anxiety, strengthen communication, and gain clarity about their values. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, creating a supportive space where each person feels understood and empowered. Whether you’re seeking relief from stress, navigating relationship challenges, or wanting more balance, I aim to help you build resilience and move forward with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. I value compassion, curiosity, and honoring each person’s lived experience, cultural background, and identity. I’m especially drawn to clients who seem strong and capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of themselves internally. I aim to create a space where people can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with what matters most. As a parent of two teens, I understand the complexities of family life, communication, and the pressures many children and adolescents face today. My own journey of shifting careers later in life also shapes my belief that change, at any stage, is possible and meaningful. Outside of therapy, I value community, time outdoors, and supporting mental health advocacy that reduces stigma and expands access to care. I strive to show up authentically with clients and believe growth happens when people feel seen, accepted, and empowered.
