About My Clients

I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating communication challenges, conflict, self-esteem concerns, and relationship stress. I especially enjoy helping couples rebuild trust, deepen connection, and move through stuck patterns with greater understanding and clarity. My style is warm, relational, collaborative, and direct, with room for honesty, humor, and genuine connection.

My Background and Approach

I hold a BS in Conflict Resolution with a minor in Communication, as well as an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am licensed in Washington State as a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. Over the past three years in private practice and group practice settings, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating communication challenges, conflict, relationship stress, and emotional disconnection. My work is influenced by Relational Life Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Solution Focused Therapy, helping clients better understand patterns, improve communication, and create meaningful change. Clients often appreciate that I am warm, engaged, honest, encouraging, and direct while still creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. I believe meaningful relationships are central to our well-being, and I’m passionate about helping clients build deeper connection, trust, and understanding.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe all people are deserving of healing, belonging, and meaningful connection. My values deeply shape the way I show up as a therapist, and I strive to create a space that feels affirming, compassionate, and genuinely human. I proudly support LGBTQ+ communities, social justice work, feminism, Health at Every Size (HAES), and creating safe, inclusive spaces for people of all races, ethnicities, body sizes, and immigration statuses. I also volunteer with a queer advocacy group, which is work that feels deeply important to me. Outside of the therapy room, I love yoga, animals, music, and spending time in nature. I’m passionate about nervous system regulation and the ways practices like movement, mindfulness, rest, and connection can support healing and growth. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and grounding, and that authenticity, warmth, and even humor can be an important part of the process.
