I completed my Master's in Social Work (MSW) from Humboldt State University in 2006 and am a certified social work associate. I have had the privilege of working with people of all ages through many life challenges including anxiety and depression, trauma, grief and loss, significant stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and college or career concerns. My approach is client-centered, trauma informed, and strengths-based. I work to integrate a humanistic and systems perspective recognizing that the client is inextricably linked and impacted by their environment and lived experience. I believe in honoring client self-determination and working alongside them in reaching their identified goals. In addition, I believe that it is of utmost importance to provide clients information and skills that will empower them to reach personal well-being. I pull from a variety of theories and models to fit your needs. It is my goal to create a safe therapeutic relationship, in which you feel respected.
