About My Clients
When I first start working with new clients through grief, lonelyness, or a new diagnosis, most come in feeling so misunderstood that they don’t know where to begin. While we unravel those confusing trains of thought, clients start finding their way through the most difficult issues in life with patience, calm, and clarity. Are you ready to transform your “one day” into “day one”?
My Background and Approach
Unfortunately, we don't always stop feeling like "the weird kid" after we leave high school. Simply trying to change our way of thinking and doing doesn't always beat that nagging feeling of "not-enoughness". Whether that’s a phrase you’ve been told by parents, teachers, bosses, or yourself, it’s almost impossible to grow when you weren’t led to believe in yourself. White-knuckling through everything - jobs, relationships, social situations - it feels like you’re always working the hardest and never getting far enough. Mix in neurodivergence, grief, and only-childness - our anxiety around "being different" is off the charts. I get it. With shame-free support, let's learn to view “help” differently. We'll build some tangible skills in direct communication, managing change, and safely feeling feelings versus avoiding them. Your understanding of self will deepen, your connections with your community will strengthen, and it'll be a straight shot towards that life-worth-living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
There is a common thread between grievers, ADHDers, and only children. Highly-sensitive and neurodivergent individuals often internally struggle with perfectionism and feeling misunderstood - leading frequently to chronic anxiety and isolating depression. Having worked in a variety of clinical settings - including PHP/IOP, government advocacy agencies, and education programs - I'm proud to connect with community resources that build client's holistic support team. I looking forward to not only standing with you, but learning about you.
