About My Clients

I specialize in working with couples, polycules, and individuals on issues of complex and adulthood trauma, neurodivergence, relational difficulties, LGBTQ+ populations, and additional expansive sexualities such as polyamory/non-monogamy, kink/BDSM, and sex work, folks living with chronic illness and pain, disability, and in fat bodies.

My Background and Approach

I approach therapy from a holistic and trauma-informed lens, utilizing body-based (somatic), parts work, emotion-focused, and mindfulness-informed modalities. I am trained in Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems), TIST (Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment), Relational Life Therapy, and others. I believe that forms of social oppression such as racism, sexism, ableism, cissexism, heterosexism, neuronormativity, and so on, operate as traumas and stressors as well and thus, are of clinical concern as barriers to wellness. My practice is grounded in the principles of non-judgment, affirmation, harm reduction, and compassion. Although I've been a therapist since 2019, my prior experience ranges from case management, crisis intervention, workshop facilitation, classroom education, and grassroots organizing. I earned my Masters in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Neurodiversity-Affirming, Queer and Trans Rights, Racial Justice, Abortion Rights, Sex and Body Positivity, Anti-Fatphobia/Sizeism/Body Policing, Anti-Ableism, Anti-Whorephobia (i.e. the discrimination of sex workers).
