I am an open-minded person that is willing to dive into more complex topics, such as LGBTQIA+ needs, sex therapy, faith transitions, complex trauma, and working with children and couples. I want to help all people find the tools to live their best and healthiest life.
My Background and Approach
My work focuses on identifying trauma triggers, establishing healthy relationships, and creating new thought and behavioral patterns through a variety of therapeutic techniques. I believe in encouraging clients to be experts in their healing journeys while collaborating with myself and other professionals to help them reach their goals. Most of my experience is working with children from trauma, LGBTQIA+ community, faith transitions, depression, and relationship issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to live a healthy and balanced life. I personally have experienced the power of cognitive reframing and learning a variety of tools to overcome my own mental health and life issues. I am passionate about equality for ALL people. I believe in a holistic approach to healing. Our minds, bodies, and spirits are very connected and how we interact with them affects us greatly. I believe that spirituality should be freeing and not restrictive. I have my own personal experiences of religious trauma and deconstruction from my previous Christian upbringing. Therefore, I have a lot of tools for healing and working through religious trauma.
