About My Clients

We all have a story, and I believe, no matter where you’ve been or where you’re going, your story matters and healing is possible. Many of us have spent our whole lives carrying around the weight of what others have done to us, or the absence of the love we should have received, and it’s heavy. My goal is to create a safe space in which we can better understand that grief you’re carrying, and collaborate together to tend to the parts of you that are hurting. You don’t have to bear this alone.

My Background and Approach

As a CMHC with a specification in trauma counseling, I operate from a trauma-informed person-centered approach that views my clients holistically and tenderly. I commit to creating a safe space every session for any and every client to show up exactly where they are at, judgement free, and fully present. My approach is relational, meaning that everything we do is collaborative, intentional, and flows from the rapport and safety we build together. I believe in showing up authentically, taking up space, and leaning into all the parts of who we are - unapologetically. There is no prerequisites to worthiness in the space we create; you are worthy now, not if or when, and I am dedicated to reminding you that, week in and week out. I desire to curate an environment that honors your uniqueness, and can provide tenderness and support however you may show up. My approach is human first, because I believe this is where healing starts.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that radical healing flows from relationships, authenticity, and being fully human. To me, being human means embracing all parts of us, including the parts others may not accept, or parts we are struggling to be kind to. I commit to embracing and celebrating who YOU are, and discovering ways to expand your belief that you are fully worthy and deserving of all the good things. As a member and an advocate, I strive to offer an environment that is inclusive and understanding of the Queer community, where we can process, explore, and care for all aspects of our identity, sexuality, gender, and presentation. I am passionate about social justice, and operate from a multi-cultural perspective that honors and supports your ethnic, cultural, and spiritual identities, while holding space for the ways those parts of you may be oppressed due to the social climate of today’s world. Above all, I aim to to treat all my clients with the respect and kindness they deeply deserve.
