About My Clients
I work best with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions who long for healing and steadiness in the midst of change. Many of my clients feel burdened, disconnected, or uncertain of their next step. I provide a safe, compassionate space where we can sort through the pain together and move toward resilience and hope. I also welcome Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, offering care that honors both language and culture.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring years of experience walking with individuals and couples through seasons of trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My background includes specialized training in evidence-based practices that not only address symptoms but also foster lasting resilience. Clients often tell me they appreciate my balance of compassion and practical tools, which helps them feel both deeply understood and equipped for change. Because I am fluent in ASL, I am able to offer a fully accessible therapeutic space for Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, honoring language and culture. My Christian faith also informs my work for clients who desire a spiritual perspective, though I respect and welcome clients of all beliefs. At the heart of my approach is the belief that healing is possible, growth is attainable, and you don’t have to walk through hard seasons alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Beyond my work as a therapist, I value authenticity, compassion, and creating spaces where people feel truly seen and heard. My Christian faith shapes the way I approach care—with gentleness, hope, and the conviction that every person carries deep worth. I believe therapy should be accessible for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, because no one should have to walk through pain alone. Living with chronic migraines has deepened my empathy for those enduring ongoing struggles, and I consider it an honor to walk with others through seasons of suffering. I am fluent in ASL and committed to serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, honoring both language and culture. Advocacy and inclusion matter deeply to me; I long to reduce the stigma around mental health in faith communities and beyond. Outside of work, I find joy in family, time in nature, and creativity—rhythms that ground me so I can show up fully present for my clients.
