I am trained in Clinical Art Therapy. I provide a wide array of art materials and interventions for my clients to use in session to express themselves and connect with their feelings and needs. I use art-making as a dynamic way for clients to reach their goals and move through their feelings.

I am trained in EMDR through EMDRIA. I use EMDR with clients of all ages. I have experience integrating EMDR and art therapy to help people to heal from difficult life events.

I use a variety of modalities to help people recover from difficult life events including EMDR, Clinical Art Therapy, and Developmental Needs-Meeting Strategy. I have experience working with clients of all ages and take into consideration our current political climate and cultural factors into my treatment approach.

Low self-esteem often originates with unmet needs during childhood. Many of us feel "not good enough" or struggle with self-doubt, this can be the result of not having caretakers who were attuned to our needs and feelings. Often, our parents did the best they could but we still may have not gotten what we needed. I use Developmental Needs-Meeting Strategy to help my clients gain a sense of self-worth, self-assssurednes, and develop the ability to advocate for themselves.

Patterns of low-self-esteem, body-image issues, depression, anxiety, boundary-issues are all passed down between generations, often without people meaning to or even being aware that they are passing down their pain.
