About My Clients
I love working with clients with anxiety, ADHD, relational issues, codependency, trauma, and history of abuse. I also work with clients around themes of life transitions, identity issues, sexuality, body issues, and spiritual formation/deconstruction. I work with clients who are committed to long-term work (6+ months). I value curiosity, non-judgment, and an understanding that healing is a process.
My Background and Approach
My goal as a therapist is to offer you a space to connect deeply with yourself. I will partner with you to process your pain, fears, hopes, trauma, dreams, and worries. All of you is welcome here. I believe that relationships impact us in ways that can cause deep wounding and also healing. Out of our relational wounding we build patterns of relating which are meant to protect us, but often leave us feeling blocked and stuck. In our work together, we will explore these patterns to create movement and healing. I come to therapy grounded in a trauma-informed, relational approach with an emphasis on attachment, internal parts work, and neurobiology. I received my BA in Psychology (with a minor in Theatre Arts) from Bethel University in Indiana and a MA in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. My desire is to provide a space where you can express yourself openly and be met with kindness, attunement, and honesty.
