About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming—whether from anxious thoughts, unresolved trauma, or the weight of relationships and work. I help individuals and professionals move beyond survival mode and create space for healing. Using EMDR, IFS, CBT, and mindfulness, I support clients with trauma, anxiety, OCD, and relationship challenges in a warm, collaborative, and affirming space. I offer in-person therapy in Tribeca and virtual sessions across New York. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor certified in EMDR through the Center for Excellence, and I integrate IFS, CBT, and mindfulness to help clients heal and grow. My experience includes working with trauma, anxiety, OCD, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to be stuck in old patterns or weighed down by past experiences, and I work to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel supported and accepted. My style is compassionate yet practical, allowing us to process difficult memories while also building coping tools you can use in daily life. I bring a background of working with individuals balancing high-pressure careers, family dynamics, and identity exploration, and I provide an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ clients. My passion lies in helping clients move from survival mode into living more authentically and confidently, fostering resilience, empowerment, and lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the core of my work is a deep belief in justice, equity, and compassion. I see therapy not only as a space for personal healing but also as a way to honor and support those who have been marginalized, silenced, or oppressed. My values are rooted in creating safety, inclusivity, and respect for every client, regardless of background or identity. I strive to ensure that my office is a place where people feel they can show up fully as themselves without fear of judgment. Advocacy is central to who I am, and I am passionate about standing alongside clients as they reclaim their voice, power, and sense of belonging. I care deeply about challenging stigma around mental health and believe in the importance of building a world where everyone has access to dignity, understanding, and care. These values shape how I practice and how I show up for the people I work with, and I hope they help you feel both welcomed and supported.
