About My Clients

My personal recovery story has lead me to a place of compassion, understanding and hope for those struggling with anxiety, OCD behaviors and eating disorders. I have 20+yrs of learned experience and offer a variety of services -phone, virtual, walk n’ talks, meditation, and life skills for social anxiety, at lower rates to provide convenient support for more individuals. Your healing path is unique to you. I will be there to hold space, motivate, listen and help you reach your wellness goals.

My Background and Approach

My approach to wholeness is peer based and mind/body focused. My support comes from a place of lived and shared experiences, as I have worked through my own recovery obstacles. I am able to share parts of my story and skills that have proven helpful in healing from anxiety, OCD patterns, and eating disorder behaviors. Because everyone’s healing path is unique, I will encourage and support you in finding what tools work best for you. I will validate the struggles you’re facing and advocate for you as you progress on your journey to reestablishing a healthy connection within yourself. Together, we can work on strengthening your mind/body connection through a variety of modalities that you feel is helpful. I offer meditation and grounding practices to encourage mindfulness and peace. I will hold a safe, non judgmental space for all parts of you, especially those parts that may feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. I will help you move from survive to Thrive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I truly believe that wholeness comes from hope, love for self and others and equanimity with all parts of ourselves. I believe we all have value and can grow from any place in our lives. As a counselor, it is important to approach every client or peer with an open mind, embracing differences, knowing every individual’s path is unique. My hope is to continue building bridges and breaking stigmas in order to reach more people in need of support. I have been personally active in a variety of communities and movements to do this work including BLM, grassroots law, food banks, yoga, meditation, health care aid education, and eating disorders professional resources. Ultimately, I aspire to inspire and support with love and acceptance.
