About My Clients
My clients are adults, children and parents seeking relief from a variety of problematic symptoms causing them distress. Some are new to counseling and others have tried therapy models which have not met their needs. I earned the trust of my clients by offering a free consultation so their questions were answered. They found comfort in hearing about my client centered policies and focus on personal attention rather than a cookie cutter one fits all way of doing things.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor LPC in Alabama. I also hold National Board Certification NCC. I earned a masters of science MS in 2018. I earned an additional post masters certificate in play therapy from Capella University in 2020. I like to help clients of all ages process trauma, grief and other relevant issues using creative modalities. I have worked with a variety of client populations including survivors of violent crime and psychological abuse. I have worked with clients struggling with anxiety causing such profound distress that it inhibited basic functioning and I have helped clients just having trouble making an important life decision. Almost everyone will experience a period of adjustment in their life when counseling could be helpful.
