About My Clients

Do you find yourself stuck in unhealthy patterns with significant partners and family members? Are you confused about how much to give to your loved ones and how much to expect from them? Do you find yourself trying to fix the other or avoiding their feelings? These are common attachment issues that cause distress in life and disrupt having satisfying relational bonds. Healing trauma and attachment wounds allows you to access stability within your self so you can bring it to your relationships.

My Background and Approach

I hold a master's degree in clinical mental health from Portland State University. I have extensive studies in Attachment, Trauma, and Mindfulness approaches to mental health from M.E.T.A, which is where I completed a year-long internship. My work incorporates your whole lived experience, which means we often explore the body-mind connection to understand deeply held patterns and beliefs. I help you examine the various levels of your emotional and felt experience so you can understand how patterns were formed, and more clearly know what you want and how to get there. The process can be an incredible journey! My work is trauma informed and I have been trained in EMDR therapy through EMDRIA.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in humans. I believe that everyone has an innate capacity towards growth and wholeness. Somewhere along the way we learn that it's not safe to be our fullest self in the world. We get fragmented and small and aren't able to make empowered choices from this place. The journey of healing old hurts can open the door toward incredible opportunities of caring and trusting ourselves. I believe the best way to move toward this health is in compassionate relationship. I am honored to help clients gain a sense of comfort with who they are in the world and in relationships. It is important for me to help make the world a safe place for diversity, and I celebrate folks from all backgrounds and walks of life.

  • Buddhism
