About My Clients

You are ready for a change, feeling burnt out, worried about social situations, sometimes feeling panicked and/or other times unable to leave bed. All of this can be overwhelming and feel confusing. My goal is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to work on perfecting your coping skills, finding self-compassion for yourself and find the clarity you are seeking.

My Background and Approach

I have worked both professionally and personally through the years perfecting coping mechanisms and tools for anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and so much more. My approach has been described as engaging, empathic, direct, and non-judgmental. I use humor in my sessions to humanize the process of therapy. I work to create a space where you can be your authentic self and break down any barriers you may have to lead you to feel empowered and at ease. I believe the quality of the therapeutic relationship plays a significant role in an individual’s healing process, therefore my goal is to develop a safe, open, and trusting dynamic with every client that I work with. If you have any questions, I offer a free phone consultation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy at different times in their lives. I believe that people can learn, adapt, and adjust with healthy communication and coping skills. I believe that offering compassion to ourselves and others will make for a better community. Accepting each other for our differences will only allow for us to learn from one another and create safer spaces. In my personal life - I love getting to spend time with my dog, going to baseball games, and spending time with a few valued friends and family members. I've also enjoyed getting to be an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Black Lives Matters, and women's rights. I recognize that advocation for these things do not always looks the same for every person and appreciate anyone who is willing to engage in conversations and challenge negative or damaging narratives that others may have. On my downtime, I enjoy a good crime documentary and playing Animal Crossing (it is highly relaxing!).
