About My Clients
I believe in inclusion, diversity, and welcome clients from all walks of life. I have a direct, yet respectful style in which I come alongside and work in collaboration with clients every step of the way. Asking for help is often difficult, so I aim to build a strong therapeutic relationship and provide a safe space for clients to explore their vulnerabilities.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and am in pursuit of my license in Marriage and Family Therapy. I obtained a Master of Science in Counseling, with a focus on Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Northwest Nazarene University. Completion of this dual track program enables me to obtain both Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapy licenses. I also completed an emphasis in Trauma, Grief, and Crisis Counseling. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boise State University. I have been trained to treat individuals, couples, and families through a systemic lens taking into account individual needs within the family system and broader environment. I have completed Gottman Method Level 1 training and am a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator. I am trained in EMDR.
