About My Clients
I work best with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I’m especially passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence and individuals processing difficult emotions or identity concerns. My ideal clients are seeking a safe and supportive space to heal, grow, and regain a sense of themselves. I meet clients where they are—with empathy, patience, and genuine care.
My Background and Approach
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. My experience includes working in schools and non-profit settings, where I supported children, teens, and adults from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have specialized experience working with survivors of domestic violence and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, blending evidence-based practices like CBT, play therapy, and mindfulness. I work collaboratively with each client to create a space where they feel safe, heard, and empowered to heal. Whether you're a young person navigating big emotions or an adult working through past wounds, I’m here to help you build resilience, self-awareness, and stronger relationships. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a safe and inclusive space for all people, especially those who have felt silenced or overlooked. I’m passionate about supporting survivors of trauma and advocating for mental health access within underserved communities. I value empathy, equity, and cultural humility in my work and strive to honor each client’s unique background and identity. I stand in solidarity with movements like Black Lives Matter and proudly support LGBTQIA+ rights, providing affirming care for clients across the gender and sexuality spectrum. Outside of therapy, I enjoy creative expression, spending time in nature, and staying involved in community wellness efforts. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported—just as you are. Healing isn’t always linear, but I believe in the power of showing up, being honest, and growing at your own pace.
