About My Clients

You may be facing past or present hurts, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, chronic pain, or trauma. People with busy minds and lives are especially welcome! We might be a particularly great fit if you consider yourself a highly sensitive person (HSP), want to work through disordered eating or body image issues using a Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating approach, or are an early career therapist or other helping professional looking to avoid or heal burnout.

My Background and Approach

I'm a firm believer in the large body of research supporting the power of relationships, including between client and therapist, to help rewire the brain toward emotional well-being and relational fulfillment. I work jointly with clients to create a safe and engaging space to explore, learn, heal, and change, and incorporate techniques from a variety of trauma-informed and evidence-based theoretical perspectives, including psychodynamic work, attachment and interpersonal neurobiology, and EMDR. Given the deep connections between body and mind, I also utilize my training as a yoga teacher to build upon the many benefits of traditional talk therapy. If you're ready to feel seen and be met with curiosity and empathy, call or email me today to discuss how I can help you understand the past, get to know yourself on a deeper level, and move forward with access to more internal freedom and space.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a white social worker deeply committed to the social work profession's Code of Ethics, I am actively working to integrate anti-oppressive and, specifically, anti-racist practices into my personal and professional life. I hope to offer a therapeutic space that is inclusive, safe, and welcoming of people of all backgrounds, abilities, and beliefs, and especially enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community. These stances are heavily informed by my professional experience prior to launching into private practice. During that time, I worked in a variety of community settings, including in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric clinics, schools, nonprofits, and medical settings with people of all ages facing mental and physical health challenges and socioeconomic barriers to success.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Atheism
  • Buddhism
  • Christianity
  • Judaism
  • Interfaith
  • Multifaith
