About My Clients
I specialize in treating young adults and adults who struggle with boundaries and big emotions that seem to be “life interfering.” Feeling validated and learning the purpose of our emotion is vital to reducing reactive behavior and preventing anxiety and panic attacks. It is also important to know how to deal with toxic people and set healthy boundaries. Let me help you build a life you want to live.
My Background and Approach
I was originally in Marketing and Digital Media where she eventually ventured to corporate America. Yet while there she felt there was more to life and wanted to make a difference. After taking one counseling course at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary she knew she had found her path. I continued focusing on her Masters at MBTS and began my internship at Clinical Associates, PA in 2015. I found out I enjoyed working with clients who struggle with an acute level of diagnoses such as Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and additional co-occurring disorders such as Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Self Harm and the like.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the underdog and those who are often overlooked and undervalued. I love to meet people where they are and find the strengthens within and once we have developed some resiliency we then grow with new skills. You will be surprised of what you know already as skills and what skills can help you be the person you want to be.
