About My Clients
My expertise and passion lies in working with those who are experiencing sexuality related concerns such as relational distress, sexual self-esteem/ functioning, postpartum sexuality and gender identity (18+). I also use EMDR to help my clients towards their treatment goals.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Counseling and Guidance with an emphasis in family and relationship therapy from University of Missouri- Kansas City as well as a certificate in Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education from the University of Michigan. Additionally, I am an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) Certified Sex Therapist. I believe in a collaborative approach in which I view the client as expert in their own life and needs and assist them in identifying what they need to move forward in living their most authentic and joy-filled life.
