About My Clients
My expertise extends from outpatient, community mental health services, children, youth, and families, as well as inpatient programs. All of which has given me the opportunity to develop my skill set that has supported my clients in their healing process. The populations that I best serve are womxn, teens, and children who've been impacted by trauma, and are ready to do the work of collaborative healing and self-reflecting which is necessary for transformative change.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a client-centered approach to support individuals with complex traumas, substance use disorder, students and adults who struggle with Imposter Syndrome, Racial Traumas, PTSD, Sexual Abuse, and Intergenerational Family Issues. I believe in creating a safe space for supporting clients and their families; especially those from underrepresented groups. I incorporate several modalities to support my clients in their therapeutic goals and healing process. Modalities range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Journal Therapy, Tf-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety and Solutions Focused Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
