About My Clients
You may be scrolling on therapy sites because you have recognized that you need a change in your life. You may not know exactly what needs to change or how to change, and that's okay! Self-awareness is a crucial aspect of bettering oneself. I help others by exposing patterns, connecting dots and assisting the process of increasing self-efficacy. Life has called me into this profession to help others help themselves. If you are willing to put the work in, I am too.
My Background and Approach
I've been in the mental health field for over a decade and I have learned a lot by working in multiple settings and positions. Regardless of my title, I've that people want to feel understood, respected and like they are having real conversations — that's where I come in. I come into each counseling session authentic, prepared, trained and ready to both support and challenge clients when necessary. Every client is different and progress through therapy at unique passes. I'm great at big leaps and baby steps, too. I am a degreed Marriage and Family Therapist. I was successful in graduating from a Master's counseling program that not only taught me how to treat couples and families but individuals too. My specialties include anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, couples' issues and perinatal support. I'm here to help my clients process their feelings of discomfort and figure out a plan of action. If you’ve come this far, let me help you the rest of the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that counseling is for everyone. When many think of mental health, there is a subconscious association with mental illness. The health of your mental state has ranges! It is important to check in with yourself. Are your behavioral and mental habits healthy for yourself and the people around you? Sometimes we have learned unhealthy patterns from our environments without even realizing it. u uaqw
