About My Clients
I work with adults, young adults, and teens navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and identity or faith transitions. Many of my clients are bilingual, first-generation, caregivers, creatives or professionals seeking a safe, compassionate space to heal. I offer a warm, culturally attuned environment where we can explore your story, strengthen your voice, and reconnect with peace, purpose, and belonging.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and have worked with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. My experience includes supporting first-generation, migrants, creatives, professionals and those exploring faith or identity transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in peer support, listening to people’s stories and learning that healing begins with feeling truly seen and understood. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in trust, blending cognitive, mindfulness, and narrative techniques in a way that fits each person’s needs. Clients often tell me they feel safe, cared for, and gently challenged to grow. I believe therapy works best when it feels human, not clinical, and when every step toward healing is met with compassion and curiosity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves access to quality, affordable mental health care. Healing should never be a privilege, it’s a basic human right. My values are rooted in inclusion, justice, and compassion, and in honoring the dignity of every person. I’m drawn to spaces that welcome difference, whether that’s my volunteer work with a reconciling Methodist church, or the therapy room itself. I see each as a place where empathy, patience, and presence can make a real difference. My background in the performing arts reminds me of the power of expression and storytelling in healing, and my belief in social justice keeps me mindful of the larger systems that shape our lives. Above all, I believe in meeting people where they are, with warmth, respect, and hope.
