My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and a Registered Play Therapist™, providing therapy for children, teens, and adults. My background spans school-based therapy, nonprofit work in domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy, and private practice supporting individuals and families. As a Registered Play Therapist™, I have completed hundreds of hours of advanced training and clinical supervision to provide developmentally-appropriate, evidence-based care to children and adolescents. I also work with women across many different life stages, whether you're navigating young adulthood, finding your footing in the professional world, learning to prioritize yourself in motherhood, or processing childhood wounds. I am committed to ongoing education to provide trauma-informed and culturally sensitive therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in our innate human capacity for change and growth. I believe that we are relational beings and that meaningful healing happens through connection. As a play therapist, I believe that children's natural language is play. I believe that children and adolescents are unique individuals, worthy of respect. I am a neurodiversity-affirming therapist and welcome individuals of all neurotypes, identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences. My goal is to create a space where each person feels valued and supported.
