About My Clients
Are you or your child feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood? Maybe you can’t turn your brain off. Maybe your child is bright but struggling with focus, emotional regulation, or school stress. You may be pushing through anxiety, burnout, or low mood and wondering whether ADHD, autism, or another difference could explain long-standing patterns. I work with children, teens, and adults seeking clarity, practical tools, and thoughtful care.
My Background and Approach
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am trained to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health concerns across the lifespan. My background working with children, adolescents, and adults allows me to look at the full picture — development, environment, stressors, and biology — so nothing important gets overlooked. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism, and I take time to carefully differentiate what’s truly going on rather than rushing to conclusions. This means you receive a thoughtful evaluation and a plan that fits your unique needs. When medication is appropriate, I prescribe carefully and monitor closely. I also integrate lifestyle, sleep, nutrition, and evidence-informed supplement guidance when helpful. My goal is for you to leave appointments with clarity, practical next steps, and a treatment plan that feels balanced, collaborative, and sustainable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should feel human, not intimidating. Seeking support takes courage, and I deeply respect the vulnerability it requires. I don’t see people as “broken” — more often they are overwhelmed, misunderstood, or navigating systems that weren’t built with them in mind. I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care. I support and advocate for neurodivergent individuals and communities that have historically been underserved in mental health spaces. I believe identity, culture, family background, and lived experience all matter in treatment. My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and accountability, and I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to understand themselves without shame. Outside of work, I value balance, lifelong learning, and meaningful connection. If you’re looking for thoughtful, respectful care where your full self is welcome, I would be honored to work with you!
