About My Clients

Looking for a trauma therapist? As a licensed therapist, I provide culturally responsive therapy for women of color and athletes. I specialize in evidence-based treatment for anxiety and depression, chronic stress, and relational trauma. By addressing identity, performance pressure, and mental health, I help clients navigate systemic oppression, athletic burnout, complex relationships, and occupational stress. I offer a dedicated space to help you heal and reclaim your wellness.

My Background and Approach

Many clients seek my practice to resolve symptoms of C-PTSD, relational trauma, and childhood emotional neglect. In adult relationships and competitive environments, these experiences often manifest as hypervigilance, fear of abandonment, persistent people-pleasing, perfectionism, and difficulty establishing healthy relationship boundaries. Additionally, I specialize in helping clients and athletes address coping mechanisms like emotional eating, bingeing, and body image distress, which often develop as survival strategies for managing underlying trauma and performance anxiety. Using various healing modalities, my approach combines insight-oriented psychotherapy and mind-body techniques to facilitate deep, lasting emotional healing. Together, we work to process generational and present-day trauma, regulate your nervous system, and build resilience. Reach out today to schedule a consultation.
