About My Clients
I work best with couples who feel stuck in painful cycles of conflict, disconnection, or mistrust. Whether you're preparing for marriage, recovering from infidelity, navigating non-monogamy, or trying to rebuild emotional intimacy, we'll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and create meaningful change. I also support individuals navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions about identity and connection.
My Background and Approach
I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood. My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), integrating practical tools from the Gottman Method and other evidence-based approaches to meet your needs. I work with couples navigating infidelity, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, and challenges with trust and intimacy. I also support individuals facing relationship difficulties and life transitions. As a PREPARE/ENRICH Certified Facilitator with Gottman Level 1 training, I draw on research-informed tools to help couples strengthen communication and deepen their connection. My style balances warmth and empathy with honesty and accountability. I want you to feel safe exploring difficult experiences while also feeling supported in recognizing patterns and making meaningful changes. You don't have to navigate these challenges alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside the therapy room, I'm someone who cares deeply about human connection and what it means to feel truly known by another person. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I'm especially passionate about advocating for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples and creating spaces where people feel safe to show up as their authentic selves. I believe we all deserve relationships where we can be honest, imperfect, and still feel valued. I value curiosity over assumptions, authenticity over appearances, and the willingness to own our mistakes and try again. I don't believe relationships have to be perfect to be meaningful, or that struggling means you've failed. I bring that same perspective into my work with clients. You don't have to have it all figured out to begin. My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can let your guard down, make sense of what's happening, and discover new possibilities for yourself and your relationships.
