About My Clients
Young adults and teens who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or in-between. Many are navigating anxiety, identity questions, relationship challenges, or uncertainty about the future. Some overthink or carry a lot internally while appearing “fine” on the outside. The clients I work best with are open to reflection and curious about understanding themselves more deeply, even if they don’t have all the words yet.
My Background and Approach
The work we do together is meant to give you both understanding and something you can carry with you outside of sessions. My goal is for you to leave therapy not only feeling heard, but with a clearer sense of how to navigate your thoughts, emotions, and relationships in your daily life. We’ll work collaboratively to understand what’s going on beneath the surface - patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships - while also building practical ways to manage anxiety, navigate uncertainty, and feel more grounded. I tend to start with what’s most present for you right now, whether that’s feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step. From there, we’ll explore how your experiences have shaped where you are, while also finding ways to move forward that feel more steady and aligned. You can expect a space that is direct, supportive, and real - where you can begin to understand yourself more deeply and build greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust over time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that being human is an ongoing process - shaped by change, transition, and the search for meaning. Most of us are moving through life without everything figured out, trying to make sense of who we are and the kind of life we want to live. I hold a deep belief in people - in our capacity to grow and become, even in the midst of uncertainty or pain. Therapy is a space to reflect, question, grieve what’s been lost, and make room for what’s still emerging. I’m especially drawn to working with teens and young adults navigating life transitions - times when identity and direction are shifting. As someone who has moved between places and cultures, I also bring a personal understanding of change, belonging, and the grief that can come with it. My approach is relational and human, grounded in understanding your story and moving toward a life that feels meaningful and your own.
