About My Clients
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to treat OCD and anxiety disorders. I often work with people who find their unwanted worries difficult to control. My clients report that they may find themselves engaging in unhelpful behaviors in an effort to limit their worries. Our sessions will focus on leaning into uncertainty, confronting fears and worries, and gaining skills to handle stressful situations. We will work together to make a therapeutic plan that feels right for you.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of structured and goal oriented therapy that focuses on thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Unhelpful and untrue thoughts about ourselves or situations can lead to distress. I use CBT to help clients identify and restructure unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that clients may have about themselves, others, or the world. Clients learning CBT will gain new coping strategies to handle distressing situations.
