About My Clients

Are you wanting to feel more aligned? Do you have a hard time communicating your needs? Are you tired of surviving and ready to thrive? I work with people from a diverse cross section of life and many are: - People of the global majority (POC, BIPOC, mixed) - Queer/trans/nonbinary/gender expansive/LGBTQIA+ - Those with intersectional identities - Are dealing with transitions, and 'quarter- & mid-life crisis' - Those looking to feel more aligned, given injustice, oppressive forces in the world

My Background and Approach

I am passionate about community mindedness and strive for humble ways of interacting across many differences. Together we'll address issues of identity, growth, and transformation in the face of racialized capitalism and supremacy related thinking. I graduated from Antioch University with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a specialized focus in multicultural studies. I graduated from the University of Washington, receiving a Bachelor's degree in race, ethnicity, and gender studies. For over 20 years, I've worked with people in healthcare, restaurants, the nonprofit industry, and customer relations of all kinds. Regardless of where I've been, I keep finding that the only way out is through. So whether you're new to therapy or are deepening in your personal work, reach out for a complimentary 15-minute consultation. Our work together will strengthen your resolve, leaving you more embodied and ready to face your own unique path back towards yourself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My work is grounded in collaboration and a belief that we all hold deep wisdom and insight into our own healing. My communication style is direct, compassionate, nonjudgemental, and curious. With humor and authenticity, I am here to guide and support your journey of growing, expanding, becoming, and transitioning into the version of selfhood that you desire. I collaborate with clients toward healing and thriving in a world that constantly makes us question our own self-worth and our very right to be here. Therapy can be profoundly uncomfortable as we grapple with vulnerability, humility, & tenderness. I believe therapy work gives a mirror of what we may not be able to see on our own, but with another, can navigate audaciously and creatively. "When we drop fear, we can draw nearer to people...the earth...to all the heavenly creatures that surround us." b.h.
