About My Clients
If you're navigating a big transition — performance pressure, injury, identity shifts, or adjusting to life in a new culture — I likely understand more than most. I also work well with people processing trauma, grief, anxiety, or depression who want a space that's warm but doesn't shy away from real talk. If you're used to pushing through everything, but are finally ready to slow down and understand yourself more deeply, we'd probably work well together.
My Background and Approach
I combine clinical training with a career that gave me firsthand experience of pressure, identity, and reinvention — shaping how I work with you. I draw on attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic work, CBT, and ACT, tailored to your needs rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. Before becoming a therapist, I danced professionally with the Paris Opera Ballet and San Francisco Ballet. If you're a performer or athlete, I understand the pressure, injuries, and identity shifts firsthand. Born and raised in France, I later rebuilt a career and life in the U.S. If you're navigating a cultural transition, I bring lived understanding and can work with you in French or English. I'm licensed in California, with telehealth licenses in Florida and Vermont, so you can access consistent care wherever you're based. This background suits me well to help with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and major transitions, especially those involving performance pressure, injury, or cultural adjustment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a former professional dancer, I know what it means to live inside a demanding, high-pressure world where identity is tied to performance — and what it takes to rebuild yourself after that chapter ends. Having grown up in France and built a new life in the U.S., I also understand navigating between cultures and languages. My clinical background shapes how I work too. I've volunteered on suicide prevention lines, worked with clients navigating suicidal ideation, and led a group on that topic. I also worked in a PHP/IOP for adults with severe mental illness, and with children and families facing life-threatening illness and grief. I don't shy away from the hardest conversations. I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative and tailored to the person in front of me, not forced into one framework. I treat clients with warmth and without judgment, while staying honest — sometimes the most caring thing I can offer is a real conversation, not just a comfortable one.
