About My Clients
I love working with folks who feel things deeply and intuitively, and who feel a calling to bring their gifts and offerings into this world! I find that these gifts of empathy, sensitivity, and intuition also have shadow sides that can rob us of their joy. These shadow sides can lead to burn out, depletion, repeated relationships and situations that are unhealthy, being used or taken advantage of, or often even trauma and abuse (past or present).
My Background and Approach
Therapy can be a place to heal, explore, and learn from these shadow sides. A place to re-author your story and future; to center and prioritize your own needs; to cultivate and embody your boundaries; and to create conscious, joyful choice around your gifts. They are sacred, and deserve protection, boundaries, and care. Just like you! We'll have the opportunity to explore deep body awareness and mindfulness, arts experiences such as listening to music, drawing, or journal writing, guided visualizations and depth hypnotherapy, animism and spiritual counseling, eco-spiritual healing, and integrative body practices. We will work together to redefine what it means for you to have these gifts, and how you want to bring them into this world. It is absolutely possible (necessary even!) for you to have your needs abundantly met, to have firm and discerning boundaries, and to have conscious, joyful choice around how when and how you utilize your gifts to engage with this world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
