About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Many of my clients come to therapy carrying experiences that have shaped how they see themselves and connect with others. I believe those struggles do not have to define your future. Like the lotus rising from the mud, healing can mean discovering strength, self-understanding, and new possibilities within what you have survived.
My Background and Approach
I believe healing is not about erasing the difficult parts of our story, but learning to understand them, grow through them, and recognize the strength developed along the way. Like the lotus, which does not grow despite the mud but rises through it, our experiences may shape us, but they do not have to define our future. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, creating a space where clients can show up as they are without judgment. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, DBT, somatic and mindfulness practices, and the Gottman Method for couples, adapting therapy to each person rather than expecting the person to fit a particular approach. Whether exploring trauma, relationships, anxiety, identity, or life transitions, I help clients understand their stories, reconnect with their strengths, and create meaningful change moving forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. There is no single “right” way to heal, grow, love, live, or make meaning of our experiences, and I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, relationships, cultures, and belief systems. I believe we are shaped by our experiences and relationships, but we are always more than the difficult things that have happened to us. Therapy should be a place where you can explore who you are without judgment, shame, or pressure to become someone else. I value authenticity, curiosity, kindness, personal choice, and the connection between mind and body. I also believe humor and laughter can have a place in healing—therapy does not always have to feel heavy. Above all, I believe people possess an incredible capacity for resilience, connection, change, and creating meaning from even the messiest chapters of life.
