About My Clients

My private practice NOVA Readiness is open to everyone, but with a specialization in First Responders, Military, and Veterans who are experiencing severe trauma, PTSD, stress, burnout, relationship issues, and more.

My Background and Approach

I am currently a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with specialized training in Critical Incident Stress Management debriefs with first responders and military. As an active duty police officer for a decade, I know firsthand how trauma can affect someone and how suffering in silence can affect you. I do not have a single one fit size approach. I judge my approach based on the clients needs. I do use all the modalities including: Solutions Based, CBT, Alderian, Experimental, Existential, and more to fit what you need to be able to cope with your stresses. I also developed my own modality called the Tactical Readiness Approach, which infuses peer support into our session and conducting clinical treatment without feeling like a therapy session. I will first consult with you and learn about the presenting issue(s). Then I will conduct sessions and create a plan based on your needs to help you. You will regain your mental readiness to be able to return to your daily life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am an active volunteer member on Critical Incident Stress Management Teams and Peer Support Team Mentor to help people struggling.
